I joined VACCO Industries as a Quality Engineer and progressed to the position of Liaison Engineer III. During the last 16 years working at VACCO, I have had a great experience working with amazing and intelligent individuals that are willing to teach and learn from others. VACCO challenges its employees to bring ideas for new solutions to our customers. VACCO is a very professional and fun place to work in.

I’ve been at VACCO for 13 years now, but it doesn’t feel that long as my job in engineering still brings challenges which I still take great satisfaction in meeting. At VACCO, we design, manufacture, build, and test high performance, high-end components that are used in space launch vehicles, satellites, and Navy equipment. Our requirements are very complex and demanding which is where the challenges lay. In my time here I’ve been a Senior Project Engineer, Lead Project Engineer, Project Engineering Supervisor, and now a Certification Engineer. The VACCO management team has allowed me to grow and flourish in both technical and managerial capacities. My continued satisfaction is also a result of the professional, yet enjoyable, work environment that I find myself in that makes it feel like we are one big family sometimes. We all want one another to be successful, which results in our company’s success.
