  • Excitement for working in the Space industry and career growth within the Space Business Unit are two of the most important reasons for my long employment at VACCO.
VACCO is part of the small selective companies that have components onboard of Space Shuttle, NASA Mars Rovers, JWST Space Telescope, new SLS Launch System, other critical components for international space agencies such as JAXA, ESA and Airbus and many more.  VACCO Space Business Unit has grown from making a few heritage valves and filters to being capable of making critical components for the SLS launch system, as well as making complex propulsion subsystems for Satellite companies.
There are numerous career options working in VACCO’s Space Business Unit including career tracks in Engineering, Quality, Operations and Program Management.  During my tenure at VACCO, I have been fortunate enough to work in two departments, Engineering and Operations.  My experience in both departments has helped made me a more well-rounded Director, which is a primary reason why I enjoy coming to work every day.

    Daniel Yang, Engineering Services Director

  • I have worked at VACCO for 15 years.  I enjoy working for VACCO because I am often challenged, able to problem solve, and I am given an opportunity to succeed.  With my team by my side, we are able to work together to meet deadlines and be proud of the work we do.
Over my career, I have had the opportunity to work for various aerospace customers while working at VACCO.  Together, we have collaborated with each other which allowed us to build relationships with current and past customers to provide a superior product for the industry.
VACCO provides opportunities to meet new people with different backgrounds, which I believe assists in our ongoing success.  The environment at VACCO cultivates relationships that turns colleagues into friends and customer projects into partnerships.  VACCO truly gives you the opportunity to grow from within and succeed.

Hilda Martinez, Sr. Filtration & Drain Specialist-Lead

  • In my 40+ years working at VACCO Industries, there are two things that standout.  Challenges and opportunities.  The unique product lines that VACCO manufactures for the NAVY and Space industries provides a career that is challenging, with great opportunities to achieve knowledge and experiences in fields not normally offered by other companies.
