Title: Photo Image Operator 'B'

With assistance from Sr. Operator as needed, applies dry film to metal sheets (raw material) and expose with photo tool to develop image of part to be produced per customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow work order instructions to set up and operate laminating machine per standard operating procedures.
Operate exposure equipment per standard operating procedures.
Visually inspect photo tools for mis-registration and troubleshoot as required with assistance from senior etch room personnel.
Maintain cleanliness controls in work area and assist with light cleaning as needed.
Assist other production areas (raw material processing and inspection) as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of blueprint drawings or any other written requirements helpful. Good verbal and written English communication skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of two (2) years of related experience and basic understanding of manufacturing operations preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Majority of work is performed in a typical production plant, shop environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to vibration. Noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Proper safety training and equipment is provided to the employee for the safe performance of required duties.
