Title:  Assembly & Test Technician - Logistics

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, performing preventative maintenance and refurbishment of VACCO Marine high-pressure air, water, hydraulic valves and manifolds, providing training on maintenance and limited troubleshooting.  Responsible for delivering both timely and effective repairs as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal product performance resulting in superior customer satisfaction.   

Experience with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.  Thorough understanding of technical and operating characteristics of company products.  A self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to operate remotely with minimum supervision.  Demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources.  Able to interface with customers in a positive professional manner.  Ability to think and act in a logical and methodical way.  Previous experience in preferably in an aerospace/Defense manufacturing environment.  Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook to be able to utilize computer-based tools for reports, email and for general communication.
